How Reputable works
Everything you need to know about using the platform — whether you're talent, a venue, or a customer looking to book.
What is Reputable?
The platform in one minute
Reputable is a booking platform that connects vetted talent — DJs, photographers, performers, trainers, and more — with venues and event organizers. Every profile on Reputable is manually reviewed and approved before going live.
Talent
Apply, build your profile, set availability, receive and manage booking requests.
Venues
Browse vetted talent, build a roster, send booking requests and manage your calendar.
Customers
Find talent on the Discover page and submit a booking request directly from their profile.
Talent
Getting started as talent
How it works
1
Apply for a profile
Go to the homepage and click "Apply for a profile." Sign in with Google and fill out the short application form — talent type, name, city, bio, and genres.
2
Wait for approval
Every application is reviewed manually. You'll receive an email once your profile is approved, usually within 2–3 business days.
3
Set up your profile
Head to Dashboard → Profile. Add a photo, write your bio, add your genres, and link your SoundCloud or Spotify.
4
Mark your availability
Go to Dashboard → Availability. Click dates to mark them available, partially available, or unavailable. Venues can see your availability before sending a request.
5
Manage booking requests
Incoming requests appear in Dashboard → Requests. Review the details, then confirm or decline. Confirmed bookings are automatically marked on your availability calendar.
6
Share your profile
Your public profile URL is shown at the top of your dashboard. Share it directly with venues, on Instagram, or anywhere you promote yourself.
TIP
Profiles with a photo, a complete bio, and genres set are significantly more likely to receive booking requests. Spend 10 minutes completing your profile before sharing your link.

3
Browse talent on Discover
Go to the Discover page to search talent by name, genre, or type. Click a profile to view their availability calendar and bio.
4
Build your roster
In Dashboard → Favorite Talent, search for talent and add them to your roster. Your roster gives you quick access to talent you work with regularly.
5
Send a booking request
From your calendar in Dashboard → Calendar, select a date and a talent from your roster to send a booking request with event details.
6
Track your bookings
All outgoing requests appear in Dashboard → Bookings. You'll be notified by email when talent confirms or declines.
Customers
Booking talent without an account
You don't need an account to request talent. Anyone can browse and submit a booking inquiry directly from a talent's public profile.
1

Go to /discover to see all available talent. Filter by name, genre, or talent type.
2
View a profile
Click any talent card to open their full profile. Check their availability calendar, read their bio, and listen to their music.
3
Submit a booking request
Click the booking button on their profile. Fill in your name, email, event date, venue, and any details. You do not need to create an account.
4
Wait for a response
The talent will review your request and respond by email — typically within 48 hours. You'll be notified when they confirm or need more information.
How-To
Quick guides
How to update your notification preferences
Go to Settings (via the top-right menu). Under Email Notifications, toggle each type on or off. Changes save instantly — no need to click a save button.
How to cancel a confirmed booking (talent)
Open Dashboard → Requests and find the confirmed booking. Click the booking to expand it, then click Cancel Booking. The venue will be notified by email.
How to propose a reschedule
Currently, reschedules are coordinated over email after a booking request is received. Reply to the booking notification email to suggest a new date.
How to remove talent from your roster (venues)
Go to Dashboard → Favorite Talent. Each roster card has a Remove button. Removing from your roster does not affect any existing booking requests.
How to add a manual gig to your calendar (venues)
In Dashboard → Calendar, click any date and use the manual gig entry at the bottom of the panel to log an event that was booked outside Reputable.
How to change your profile photo
Go to Dashboard → Profile. Click the avatar to open the photo editor. Upload a new image, crop it, and save. The new photo replaces your Google profile photo across the platform.
