Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Reputable collects from you, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to usereputable.com and any associated services.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (hashed — we never store it in plain text), and the name or handle you provide.

Profile information. For talent and venue profiles, we collect the information you submit during the application and profile-building process — display name, city, bio, profile photos, social links, and work samples.

Booking data. We store the details of booking requests you send or receive, including event dates, venue names, contact information provided in forms, and communication between parties.

Availability data. Dates you mark as available, limited, or blocked on your calendar.

Google Calendar data. If you connect your Google Calendar, we store OAuth tokens to read your calendar events and write confirmed booking events. We access only what you explicitly authorize. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard.

Usage data. Basic analytics about how you use the platform — pages visited, actions taken — to improve the product. We do not sell this data.

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve the Reputable platform
• Process and facilitate booking requests between talent and venues
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, application status updates)
• Display your public profile to other users on the platform
• Review talent and venue applications for approval
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not use your information for advertising targeting, sell it to data brokers, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Other users. Information you add to your public profile is visible to anyone on the platform. Booking request details are shared between the talent and the requester involved in that booking.

Service providers. We use a small number of trusted services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication (data hosted in the US)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google — OAuth sign-in and Calendar integration (when you enable it)
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery

These providers process data only as needed to provide their services. We do not authorize them to use your data for any other purpose.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the platform.

When your talent profile is approved and live, it is publicly visible at usereputable.com/[your-username]. This includes your display name, city, talent type, bio, genres, photos, and platform links. Availability dates are also visible.

Your email address is never displayed publicly. Contact between parties goes through the booking request system.

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Booking history is retained indefinitely to support your professional record on the platform.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve outstanding disputes.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information on your profile
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect Google Calendar and revoke token access at any time
• Opt out of non-essential emails from your notification settings

We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your login session and remember interface preferences (such as which tab you last had open). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Google Calendar tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to read and write calendar events on your behalf.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@usereputable.com.

Reputable is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice in your dashboard.
